Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, NY (06/30/2012) -- The Brooklyn 4th of July 107th Annual Dyker Heights independence Day Parade is regularly scheduled before the 4th of July. It began in 1905 and is kept alive by the Long Island Assembly #703 of the Knights of Columbus.
The parade started at 13th Ave and 71th Street and went all the way to 86th St. at Archbishop John Hughes Council 481.
The 2012 Award recipients were: Rev. Fr. Raymond Nobliletti M.M. (Pro-Patria Award), Fran Vella-Marrone (Fr. Brogan Community Service Award) and Ted General (Grand Marshal)
